The driver of a Mercedes vehicle involved in a serious accident at the access road to Ibiza airport tested negative for alcohol and drugs, according to research sources. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon, prompted investigations into all drivers involved.

Occupant of Rammed Taxi Suffers Injuries

One of the occupants in the taxi that was struck by the Mercedes, a 29-year-old male passenger, was transferred to Nuestra Señora del Rosario Polyclinic with head trauma and open wounds. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old taxi driver was transported to Can Misses with minor injuries and was later discharged.

The Details of the Accident

The accident took place around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday when the driver of the Mercedes executed an erratic maneuver, crossing into the opposite lane where a taxi was heading towards the airport. The collision between the two vehicles was forceful, causing the Mercedes to spin and subsequently collide with a minibus traveling behind it.
