The winners of ‘The World’s 100 Best Clubs’ for 2023 will be announced at the Golden Moon Awards Gala. This grand event is part of the 9th Edition of the International Congress of Night Leisure and the 4th Edition of the National Leisure Congress, scheduled for November 27 and 28 in Barcelona.

These awards, organized by the International Nightlife Association, bring together 373 establishments from 65 countries. Only one club will earn the coveted title of “The World’s Best Club,” an honor that Hï Ibiza has proudly claimed for the past three editions.

José Luís Benítez, President of the International Nightlife Association and Vice President of Spain Nightlife, expresses immense pride in Ibiza’s remarkable achievement. “We have held the top position in the world of nightlife for years due to our professionalism,” Benítez asserts. He further highlights that Ibiza offers a unique experience where visitors can witness nine of the top ten DJs in the world within a single week.

Ibiza Leads the Global Nominations

Spain, with Ibiza at its helm, leads the nominations for ‘The World’s 100 Best Clubs’ with a total of 77 nominated venues. The United States follows with 46 nominations, while Italy boasts 19.

Remarkably, Ibiza has secured the most nominations in the world for six consecutive editions. Other Spanish destinations also make a mark on the list, with Barcelona having 15 nominations, Madrid with 10, Marbella with 6, and Tenerife with 4 nominated venues.

Determining the Winners

The final list of winners for 2023 will be determined by a combination of factors. Online votes play a significant role, accounting for 50% of the final decision. The remaining percentage relies on the verdict of a professional jury comprising experts from the nightlife industry.

The expert panel evaluates various criteria, including programming quality, security measures, acoustics, and the overall quality of services. These factors help to ensure that the awards are given to the clubs that have excelled in providing an outstanding nightlife experience.

In a thrilling addition to this year’s edition, the International Nightlife Association will present awards for the following categories:

3. Best Festival of 2023
